No, this isn’t true. The person facing this spiritual battle can, at times, see them, sense them and hear them. Other people, who for whatever reason have been made susceptible to the spiritual realm can also see, sense and hear the same things or experience the oppression of a person in a different manner. I had voices here claiming to be Jesus, the holy spirit, Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Enoch, Azazel, Lucifer, Gadriel and the list goes on and on. Some of the names I had never heard before. They also tried to compel me to accept doctrines like the Trinity or the Quran when I didn’t want to.

In my opinion, possession will be along the lines of literally not being able to control your actions and having no idea why you are doing certain things at all. Sort of like what one may experience during a black out from alcohol or a date rape drug. Or total control like what is seen in the plant toxin “Devil’s breath”.
